🌹WineDown Wednesdays w/ Yours Truly🌹

Hey hey hey welcome to Wednesday! How is your week going? Mine is moving along after some well-deserved family time last week. I am in awe at the way we have already received a couple of snowstorms, and if I am being honest......I am looking forward to a few more over this winter season. Although technically, we are not even in winter yet.

Today is my youngest's birthday, and I can not believe she is 9 years old today. We were reminiscing about how her journey started in the world and how I felt I was in labor for weeks before the actual delivery finally took place. Her attitude is a little of the same reflection, too. She tends to hint about things she wants to do or get involved in, but isn't ready to take full action in that moment. A couple of weeks/days later, she is full-fledged and ready to take action.

My middle daughter has a low-key countdown going, and I am not ready. I still can not believe I just signed off on her SENIOR high school schedule and her high school diploma requirements.....🥹🥹🥹 I am just sitting here like......how did we get here already? I was just teaching her how to walk only yesterday! lol I was just on the phone with my BFF, and she's in shock the baby baby is 9, but I am still in shock that my baby (technically my first delivered baby) is about to be a senior!!!!! Y'all are going to have to bear with me and all the emotions over this next year.

Now my oldest......whew, she is about to be 21, and I am again trying to figure out HOW ARE WE HERE!!!! Time moves so fast, one minute she was 5 and being a fun terror, and now she is a full-fledged adult, finding her life, living her best life, and now about to be 21. I didn't think I was old enough to be dealing with all of this, but here we are.

One of the books I was reading previously, before Libby rudely snatched it away, is The 5 Types of Wealth: A Transformative Guide to Design Your Dream Life, and I learned about the weirdest calendar. The calendar is called a memento mori calendar. Now this calendar is made up of a large rectangle with tiny circles. There are 52 columns, and it's 80 rows long. Each circle represents one week of your life, and each row represents one year. Have any of you ever heard of this calendar before??? I had Chat (that's what I call ChatGPT, lol) make a version for me, just so I could see what it looks like, and it was a little bit of a heart stopper. It made me feel like I need to continue to do so much more in life. My calendar is almost halfway filled, since I did mine based on living to 90, and it's like WHOA! I need to get moving. I don't think I could use it on a weekly basis, but it did make me appreciate and reflect on continuing to live my life to its fullest and make the most out of each day. 😎
